Timeloom › SMS Opt-In

How Timeloom collects SMS consent

This page documents the opt-in flow for the Timeloom appointment notification program: who receives messages, how consent is collected, and how recipients opt out.

The program

Timeloom sends appointment confirmations and reminders by SMS to customers who booked a service through the Timeloom platform and turned on text messages in their own notification settings. Message frequency varies with the customer's bookings — typically one to three messages per appointment. Timeloom does not send marketing by SMS.

The opt-in flow

  1. A customer creates a Timeloom account and signs in.
  2. The customer opens Notification Settings in their account. Text messages are off by default — email is the only channel enabled for a new account.
  3. The customer turns on the Text messages (SMS) switch. The consent disclosure below is displayed directly beside the switch at the moment of opt-in.
  4. The customer selects Save Settings. Timeloom records the consent with a timestamp and the page where it was given.

Consent is collected directly by Timeloom, the party sending the messages. Consent is never a condition of booking, and a customer can turn the switch off — or reply STOP — at any time.

The consent language shown at opt-in

By turning on text messages, you agree to receive appointment reminders and booking updates from Timeloom at the phone number on file. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
